This past weekend, Annaguey McCann joined over 400 participants in Public Counsel’s annual Run for Justice, an event that raises funds to support the organization’s mission to advance civil rights and racial and economic justice through comprehensive legal advocacy. Team Annaguey McCann exceeded its fundraising goal and raised over $5,500, placing 2nd for the Most Money Raised as a Team among all participants.
Partner Kathryn McCann, who spearheaded the firm’s team, has been a proud supporter of Public Counsel for over 10 years and serves on its Board of Directors.
The Run for Justice was held in conjunction with the Los Angeles Big 5K and the Los Angeles Marathon. While most of the team ran the 5K, big congratulations to partner Jason Kelly who went the literal extra mile and completed the marathon with the Best Marathon Time of the event at 04:25:43!
